Kathmandu: A total of 10,720,567 votes have been counted so far under the proportional representation electoral system. According to the update released by the Election Commission of Nepal at 3:30 am today, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured the highest number of votes, receiving 5,119,619 votes.
The Nepali Congress has obtained 1,745,954 votes, while the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has secured 1,447,664 votes. Similarly, the Nepal Communist Party has received 802,743 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party 378,478 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party 329,197 votes.
Likewise, the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal has secured 174,305 votes, the Rastriya Parivartan Party 171,444 votes, and the Janamat Party 78,927 votes. Vote counting is still underway. — RSS
