Kathmandu: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has convened a meeting of six political parties that have secured representation in the House of Representatives through the election held after Falgun 21.
The meeting of the six parties represented in the House of Representatives has been scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday. According to the election results of Falgun 21, the following parties have obtained representation in Parliament: the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN, Shram Sanskriti Party, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
The joint meeting will take place at the office of the Secretary-General within the Parliament Secretariat, located in Singha Durbar. The Secretariat has not disclosed which leaders from each party will participate in the meeting. Meanwhile, the Election Commission is currently issuing certificates to members elected under the proportional representation system.
