Kathmandu: Police have taken businessman Deepak Bhatta into custody in connection with an investigation related to money laundering. A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) apprehended him on Thursday from the Gairidhara area of Kathmandu.
According to Police Senior Superintendent and spokesperson Shiv Kumar Shrestha, the bureau is currently conducting an investigation into Bhatt on matters concerning asset (money) laundering.
