Kathmandu – In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs in a match played last night.
Chasing a target of 227 runs, Kolkata were bowled out for 161 runs in 16 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 52 runs for Kolkata, while Jaydev Unadkat took 3 wickets for Hyderabad.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being put in to bat, Hyderabad scored 226 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Heinrich Klaasen scored 52 runs, Abhishek Sharma 48, and Travis Head 46.
Blessing Muzarabani took 4 wickets for Kolkata. This marks Hyderabad’s first win of the season, while Kolkata suffered their second consecutive defeat.
In today’s IPL match, Chennai Super Kings will face Punjab Kings. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:45 PM Nepali time in Chennai.
