Kathmandu – Due to the influence of a western low-pressure system and local winds, weather conditions across Nepal remain partly cloudy.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, Sudurpashchim, Lumbini, Bagmati, and Koshi Provinces.
Snowfall is also expected in some high-altitude areas. While the hilly and mountainous regions will experience cloud cover, the Terai region is expected to remain mostly clear.
