Kathmandu – The ongoing session of both houses of the Federal Parliament is set to conclude from tonight. Acting on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated Chaitra 24, President Paudel has decided to end the session effective from 12:00 midnight tonight.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, the Office of the President informed that the decision was made in accordance with Article 93, Clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
With this, the current session of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will formally come to an end. The government had recommended concluding the winter session in preparation for the upcoming budget session.
