Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has expressed his confidence that the newly formed government will enact welfare-oriented legislation in line with the aspirations of the people and ensure its effective and result-oriented implementation.
While addressing a joint session of the Federal Parliament, he stated that he is confident the government will guarantee the effective and outcome-focused enforcement of laws in accordance with their spirit and intent.
“The essence, sentiments, and aspirations expressed by the Nepali people through repeated people’s movements, struggles, and most recently through the youth-led movements, have been in this direction,” President Paudel said. “To fulfill the people’s aspirations, Parliament must enact citizen-centered, welfare-oriented laws. I am confident that the government will ensure their effective and result-oriented implementation in accordance with their spirit and intent.”
He further stated, “Moreover, if the judiciary is able to deliver swift, efficient, independent, and impartial justice, it will truly honor the martyrs who sacrificed their invaluable lives for change.” He emphasized that only through timely, efficient, independent, and fair dispensation of justice can genuine respect be paid to the martyrs.
