Kathmandu — The meeting of the Federal Parliament’s House of Representatives is scheduled to convene today at 11:00 am. According to the Parliament Secretariat, today’s meeting will primarily focus on the government’s annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Balen Shah is scheduled to present a proposal to initiate discussions on the annual policies and programmes that were presented last Monday by President Ram Chandra Paudel during the joint session of both houses of Parliament.
During the discussion, lawmakers will present amendments received on the policies and programmes, followed by clause-wise deliberations. The agenda also includes Prime Minister Shah responding to questions raised by lawmakers during the discussion.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, the process to endorse the policies and programmes will move forward following the Prime Minister’s response.
