Kathmandu: Discussions on the Government of Nepal’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 will continue in the National Assembly.
During today’s meeting, National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal informed the House that deliberations would continue in the next session as lawmakers had not yet completed presenting their views on the policies and programs.
The discussion on the government’s policies and programs began in the National Assembly on Wednesday. During the meeting, lawmakers Kiran Babu Shrestha, Jhakku Prasad Subedi, Prem Prasad Dangal, Mohammad Khalid, Tul Prasad Bishwakarma, Narayan Dutta Mishra, Ghanshyam Rijal, Samjhana Devkota, Durga Gurung, Suresh Ale Magar and Somnath Portel expressed their views.
President Ramchandra Paudel had presented the Government of Nepal’s policies and programs for the fiscal year 2083/84 while addressing the joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament on Baisakh 28.
The next meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled to convene on Thursday, Baisakh 31, at 11:15 am.
