Dhangadhi, May 19 — The meeting of the Sudurpashchim Provincial Assembly, which had been adjourned indefinitely following the first meeting of the budget session, is scheduled to convene on Friday.
According to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the meeting has been called for 2:00 PM on May 22. Information Officer of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Yubaraj Jaishi, said that the agenda includes tabling a bill related to Tikapur Technical University.
Earlier, the eighth session of the Provincial Assembly had commenced on April 30.
During the first meeting of the session, Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari read out the letter received from the Office of the Province Chief regarding the convening of the eighth session. Likewise, leaders of various political parties were provided special time to exchange शुभकामना and express their views on contemporary issues as well as wishes for the successful conduct of the ongoing session.
