ACC Women’s Premier Cup: Nepal batting against Bhutan

Kathmandu – Nepal is currently batting against Bhutan in the ongoing ACC Women’s Premier Cup in Malaysia. After winning the toss at the Tunku Jaafar Cricket Oval, Bhutan elected to field first, sending Nepal in to bat.

Bhutan’s bowlers made an aggressive start, claiming two wickets within the first two overs. Nepal lost Bindu Rawal for a duck, while Samjhana Kumari was dismissed after scoring 10 runs. Puja Mahato and Soni Pakhrin are currently at the crease.

Nepal entered the match aiming to secure its second consecutive victory after defeating Qatar by eight wickets in its opening match on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 77 runs, Nepal reached 78/2 in 10.5 overs to record its first win of the tournament. Nepal will next face Hong Kong on Saturday in its third match of the competition.
