Kathmandu: At least eight people were killed and 105 others injured in separate road accidents across Nepal within the past 24 hours, according to data released by Nepal Police on Tuesday.
Report shows Madhesh Province recorded the highest toll with five deaths and 28 injuries. Koshi reported one death and 20 injuries, Karnali one death and 17 injuries, and Sudurpashchim one death and two injuries.
No fatalities were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley, though 23 people were injured. Bagmati saw nine injuries, Lumbini six, while Gandaki reported no casualties.
