Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Purna Bahadur Khadka has called a meeting of leaders from his faction. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Khadka’s residence in Golfutar.
The discussion will be attended by senior leaders and office-bearers from the party’s rival faction elected during the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress. The meeting is expected to make key decisions regarding preparations for the upcoming national gathering to be held in Kathmandu.
Participants will also review the party’s seven-point response and discuss the political developments that have unfolded since then. Khadka has been holding parallel meetings after Gagan Thapa became the party president through the special general convention.
