Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has received a vote of confidence. Out of 275 members of the House of Representatives, 268 voted in favor of the proposal regarding Prime Minister Prachanda asking for a vote of confidence.270 people attended today’s meeting.
The Prime Minister was supported by his party CPN Maoist Center, Nepali Congress, CPN UML, National Independent Party, National Democratic Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, CPN Unified Socialist, Janmaat Party, Democratic Socialist Party, Civil Liberation Party, Independent MPs Amresh Kumar Singh, Prabhu Shah and Yogendra MandalVoted.
MP Prem Suwal of Nepal Labor Kisan Party and Chitra Bahadur KC of Rashtriya Jan Morcha did not give a vote of confidence to the Prime Minister.
