A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Khagraj Adhikari.The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Residence Baluwatar this morning (Wednesday) . It is understood that there was a discussion about strengthening federalism. On the occasion of the meeting, there was also a discussion about working according to the spirit of federalism.
The Chief Minister has congratulated Prachanda for getting an extraordinary vote of confidence. UML leader Adhikari was appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province on 25th of January. He is taking the vote of confidence on the 29th. Adhikari was appointed Chief Minister on Monday with the support of 33 people including CPN-UML, Maoist Center, RPP and Rajiv Gurung (Deepak Manange). 31 seats are required to achieve majority in Gandaki province which has 60 seats.
