Kathmandu: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), issued a compelling call to other political parties, urging them to unite in forming a consensus government to confront the pressing challenges facing the nation.
In a bold move, Lamichhane challenged all political entities to collaboratively address the country’s myriad problems by establishing a consensus government that does not include the RSP. He conveyed this proposal through social media, directing his message as an ‘appeal to all longstanding parties.’
In his statement, Lamichhane emphasized the urgency of the situation, remarking, “This represents a final opportunity to rectify the turmoil within our nation, bringing together those who have coexisted for the past four years.”
He further added, “The choice is yours: utilize this moment to rectify the wrongs of the past 33 years or conceal them, allowing more wrongdoers to escape justice.”
Lamichhane also expressed his reservations about the terminology “Mission 2084BS,” asserting, “Your mission should not be confined to just Mission 80. There are more missions on the horizon.”
He passionately implored all political parties to join forces over the next four years and collectively address the persistent issues plaguing the nation.
