Kathmandu, Oct 10: One person has been injured in a firing incident in Gokarneshwor Municipality of Kathmandu. Police opened fire on a group of robbers at Jagdale of Gokarneshwor Municipality-2.
Police have recovered seven rounds of bullets, including a pistol, said Rabindra Regmi, spokesperson at the Crime Investigation Office. He said he opened fire on a group of robbers when they tried to attack the police.
According to him, 25-year-old Amar Ghalan of the robber group was injured in the incident.’As per the police mission, the robbers were arrested after receiving information that they had arrived.’ he said.
