Kathmandu, Nov 03. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has grounded two pilots at Manthali Airport in Ramechhap.
According to the Authority, the licenses of Captain Santosh Shah and Sanjeev Shrestha of Tara Air have been suspended. Further investigation will be carried out and action will be taken against them, the NRA said.
On Friday morning, the pilot, who landed at Manthali Airport from Lukla, had a scuffle after falling from the plane.
Tara Air spokesperson Sudarshan Bartola said the two pilots had a fight for personal reasons and details were awaited. “They don’t seem to have a fight because of the company,” he said, adding that there could be some personal reason. ’
