Kathmandu, Jan 7: The Election Commission (EC) has released the final list of voters for the National Assembly elections. The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday released the voters’ list for the upcoming elections. State Assembly members, chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of rural municipalities and mayors and deputy mayors of municipalities will cast their votes for the election to the National Assembly.
According to the published list, a total of 367 voters, including 93 for the provincial assembly members and 274 for the chairperson and vice-chairperson of the rural municipality and mayor and deputy mayor of the municipality, have been registered in koshi province. According to the EC, the vote weight of provincial assembly members in Koshi province will be 4,929, while that of chairperson and vice-chairperson of rural municipality and mayor and deputy mayor of municipality will be 5,206.
A total of 374 voters, including 107 for state assembly members and 267 for chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of rural municipalities and mayors and deputy mayors of municipalities, have been registered in madhes province. With this, the vote weight of provincial assembly members in Madhes province will be 5,671 and that of chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of rural municipalities and mayors and deputy mayors of municipalities will be 5,073.
