Kathmandu, Jan 10: Sandeep Lamichhane has been sentenced to eight years in jail. A division bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Shishir Raj Dhakal sentenced him to eight years in jail on Wednesday.
The complainant’s side argued in the bench today demanding maximum punishment and Sandeep’s lawyer demanding minimum punishment. A division bench of Justice Shishir Raj Dhakal also ordered Sandeep to pay Rs 500,000 as compensation to the victims.
