Kathmandu: Nepal faces a target of 172 runs in the Tri-nations T20 International Series finals against Papua New Guinea (PNG).
After winning the toss, Nepal opted to bowl first and successfully restricted PNG to 171 runs, losing eight wickets in the allocated 20 overs.
Kushal Bhurtel and Aakash Chand shone for Nepal, each claiming three wickets, while Karan KC and Gulsan Jha contributed with one wicket apiece.
PNG’s Tony Ura top-scored with 61 runs, supported by Alei Nao’s 30 runs. However, apart from them, no other batsmen managed to surpass the 20-run mark.
