Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that he will try to find a national consensus about the president.
Responding to the media persons outside the parliament building after the Speaker’s election on Thursday, Prime Minister Prachanda said that there is still time and he is trying to reach an agreement about the President. He also said that he is trying to make an understanding about the power partner and the president as much as he can.
He said that the ruling coalition will move ahead in the election of the Deputy Speaker as per today’s process. Prime Minister Prachanda responded that the Speaker was elected by the majority as the power partner parties stood together.
