Kailali: CPN(UML) candidate Daman Bhandari has won the Bajhang State Assembly by-election. Daman has secured a seat in the Sudurpaschim State Assembly defeating Abhishek Bahadur Singh of the Nepali Congress.
UML’s Bhandari secured 11,612 votes while NC’s Singh secured 11,343 votes. The difference between the two is 266. Janak Bahadur Budha of CPN (Maoist Centre) got 3831 votes while Dil Bahadur Singh of CPN (S) got 2514 votes.
