Bhaktapu: The Office of the Controller of Examination of the National Examination Board is preparing to announce this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results by Thursday.
Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, Nandalal Paudel, informed that the final preparations for releasing the results are underway.
According to the office’s plan, the work of evaluating answer sheets, entering marks, and resolving any discrepancies has been completed, and the results are in the final stages of preparation.
Controller Paudel stated, “The board’s schedule is to publish the results by the June 28. We have been working swiftly to release the results earlier than the schedule. We aim to publish the results by Thursday.”
He mentioned that teams of staff have been working diligently, with 52 evaluation centers involved in the answer sheet assessments, and the remaining tasks being handled at the office. Last year, the SEE results were announced on July 9.
Paudel noted that this year’s results will be released separately for theoretical and practical components.
Students who score less than 35 percent (27 out of 75 marks) in the theoretical exams will be marked as NG (Non-Graded). The SEE exams, which started on March 28, had 467,000 regular examinees and 21,000 re-takers aiming to improve their grades.
