Kathmandu: The CPN-UML’s politburo is holding its meeting today to further discuss the party’s annual plan of action. The plan was initially presented during Tuesday’s session.
UML General Secretary Shanker Pokharel outlined the annual action plan at the meeting, which took place at the party’s central office in Lalitpur (Chyasal) and was chaired by KP Sharma Oli.
The plan covers several key areas: party membership, expansion, and documentation; regular conventions of the party and affiliated organizations; evaluation of party committees, leaders, and cadres; and ensuring tasks assigned by the committee are completed and executed actively.
Additionally, the action plan includes provisions for assessing whether party committees are functioning in a lawful manner and emphasizes effective mobilization of government and people’s representatives to communicate government achievements to the public.
Today, all politburo members are expected to share their views. The final action plan will be released after incorporating feedback and recommendations from the politburo members.
