Kathmandu, o2 Dec: Janakpur Bolts have registered their second consecutive win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In today’s match, Janakpur defeated Karnali Yachs by 8 wickets.
Janakpur achieved the target of 142 runs set by Karnali by losing only two wickets in 15.1 overs. Janakpur captain Anil Shah scored an unbeaten 62 runs. Asif Sheikh scored 36 runs. For Karnali, Mausam Dhakal and Zeeshan Maqsood took one wicket each.
Earlier, Karnali scored 141 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs after winning the toss in Kirtipur. Gulshan Jha (36), Arjun Gharti (33) and captain Sompal Kami (29 not out) were the top scorers for Karnali. Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 14 runs. Mohammad Mohsin took two wickets for Janakpur.Earlier, Janakpur had defeated Biratnagar Kings in the opening match.
