Kathmandu, May 30: The government has announced a public holiday for Sunday in the Kathmandu Valley.
Issuing a notice on Friday, Ram Chandra Tiwari, Spokesperson of the Home Ministry, said that the government has decided to provide public holiday for Sunday in the Kathmandu Valley on the occasion of Matsyendranath Bhoto Jatra (Matsyendranath’s vest showing ceremony).
A notice in this regard was published in the national gazette in February end.
