Kathmandu, July 7: There is an influence of monsoon winds in the country now, with the monsoon low pressure trough positioned near western Nepal, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
The Division said that it will be partly to generally cloudy across the country today. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder or lightning in a few places in the hilly regions of the country and one or two places in the rest of the country.
There is also a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Sudar Paschim Province. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snowfall in a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
