Kathmandu, Chaitra 17 — The meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Following the convening of both houses by President Ram Chandra Paudel, the Federal Parliament Secretariat has informed that seat arrangements will be managed today (Wednesday), according to Parliament spokesperson Ekaram Giri.
He further stated that an all-party meeting will be held on Wednesday to facilitate the conduct of Thursday’s parliamentary session, during which a tentative agenda will be prepared. According to spokesperson Giri, the proposed agenda finalized by the meeting will be made public today.
The meeting of the House of Representatives will take place in the multipurpose hall of the Federal Parliament Building at Singha Durbar. Similarly, the National Assembly meeting will be held in the National Assembly Hall at the Parliament Secretariat, also located in Singha Durbar. This marks the first parliamentary session following the election of the House of Representatives held on Falgun 21.
