Biratnagar — The ninth and budget session of the Koshi Provincial Assembly will commence in Biratnagar from 3:00 PM on Jeth 6, following a decision made by the Koshi Provincial Government’s Cabinet meeting held on Thursday.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli said the meeting decided to forward the “Statistics Regulation, 2082” to the Cabinet’s Physical Infrastructure Committee and the “Koshi Province Planning Commission Formation and Operation Order, 2083” to the Law and Justice Committee. The Cabinet also appointed Manita Ghimire as a member of the Provincial Planning Commission.
Likewise, Joint Secretary Ram Krishna Adhikari, who was transferred from the federal government, has been assigned to the post of Secretary at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers. The Cabinet also decided to forward the “Internal Control System Directive, 2083” to the Law, Justice and Provincial Affairs Committee, according to Minister Parajuli.
