Kathmandu — A meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled to convene again today at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the Federal Parliament Building.
According to the agenda, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will, on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah, seek permission to table and present two bills in the House.
The scheduled business includes the proposal and presentation of the House of Representatives Members Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083.
During Tuesday’s meeting, discussions were held on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year, excluding tax proposals. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle also responded to queries raised during the deliberations.
Deliberations on the proposal had begun on Monday. Finance Minister Dr. Wagle had originally presented the principles and priorities document during the House meeting held on Baisakh 31.
