PM Shah holding joint discussion with EU-affiliated ambassadors and mission heads today

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balen Shah is scheduled to hold a joint discussion today with non-resident ambassadors and heads of missions from countries affiliated with the European Union (EU) based in Nepal.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the meeting is set to take place at 11:30 a.m. at Singha Durbar, where the Prime Minister will engage in a collective dialogue with more than 30 diplomats representing 22 EU member and Southeast Asian countries.

Prime Minister Shah’s Press and Research Advisor, Deepa Dahal, stated that the meeting will focus on informing the diplomats about Nepal’s current priorities, further strengthening bilateral relations, and discussing various areas of cooperation.

Similarly, the meeting is expected to address efforts to maintain Nepal’s status as a Least Developed Country (LDC) and to seek continued international support in this regard. Discussions will also include initiatives aimed at removing Nepal from the European Union’s aviation safety “blacklist.”

Earlier, on Chaitra 25, Prime Minister Shah held a similar collective meeting and dialogue with ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions based in Nepal.
