Kathmandu: Weather conditions are expected to remain generally cloudy across various parts of the country on Monday. According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, hilly and mountainous regions will experience partly to generally cloudy skies during the day, while the Terai region will remain partly cloudy.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few locations of the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces, as well as in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces. Isolated areas in the Terai regions of Koshi and Lumbini Provinces may also receive rainfall. Light snowfall is possible in some high-altitude areas.
During the night, the mountainous regions are expected to remain generally cloudy, the hilly regions partly cloudy, and the Terai region mostly clear. Similarly, there is a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Sudurpashchim and Karnali Provinces, as well as in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces.
