Kathmandu: Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has called an all-party meeting, but Nepali Congress chairman Gagan Kumar Thapa will not attend.
The meeting has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. today to discuss current political issues. Political parties represented in both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly were invited to send their party chairperson/president along with two representatives. However, from the Nepali Congress, only parliamentary party leader Bhishmaraj Angdambe and MP Firdoosh Alam are expected to participate.
The meeting will be held in the Public Accounts Committee Hall under the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Singha Durbar. Invitations and official notices regarding the all-party meeting were sent to all political parties represented in both houses of Parliament.
