PM’s Cup football : Nepal and Bhutan compete to reach final today

Kathmandu, March 27: Nepal and Bhutan are playing today in the Prime Minister’s Three Nations Cup football tournament. The match will be held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar at 6 pm. The team that will reach the final will be decided from this last match of the group stage.

In today’s match, Nepal lost by two goals but will reach the final. Bhutan needs a historic win in the match against Nepal to reach the finals. The equation should also be favorable to Bhutan. In case of draw or win, Nepal will reach the final.

The team that reaches the final in today’s match will play Laos on Friday for the title. In the first match of the tournament, Nepal defeated Laos by 2-0 goals. Similarly, Laos defeated Bhutan 2-1 in the match on Saturday.

Laos has 3 points in 2 games and Nepal has 3 points in one game. Bhutan has not been able to add points. Bhutan and Laos along with home team Nepal are participating in the tournament organized by All Nepal Football Association ANFA.
