Kathmandu, March 27: At present, there is a general influence of westerly winds along with local winds over the country. As a result of which, the weather in the hilly areas of the country has become worse, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The weather is generally clear in the hilly areas with partly to moderate showers in the rest of the country. Light rain with thunder and lightning is falling in a few places in the hilly parts of Gandaki province.
In the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province, there will be a general shower this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain with lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of the country.
It will be partly cloudy tonight in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali regions. There is a possibility of light rain with lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The division said that there is a possibility of light rain with lightning in the hilly areas on Wednesday as well.
