Kathmandu, May 4: ice employees’ organizations have announced to put off their protest programmes following the formation of a government dialogue committee led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka. The employees’ organizations had launched struggle saying the government did not incorporate their recommendations in the Federal Civil Service Act.
In a joint appeal issued today, the Nepal Civil Service Employees Union, Nepal National Employees Organization, integrated Government Employees Organization Nepal and Nepal Madhesi Civil Service Forum have announced to put off their pre-scheduled protest programmes after the formation of the government talk team. However, CPN (UML) associated Nepal Civil Service Employees’ Organization in a separate statement today said its protest would continue .
