Allegation of corruption by ruling party MP in Pashupati, UML’s objection

Kathmandu. CPN-UML objected to President KP Sharma Oli after the ruling MPs accused him of corruption. Padam Giri, chief whip of CPN-UML, expressed his objection while speaking in the meeting of the House of Representatives.

He said, ‘An MP named Lekhnath Dahal from the ruling party, he said that when the UMA-led government, Oli made a serious accusation from this House that he used brass as gold in order to use water in Pashupati Nath’s recession.’

He warned that allegations made without facts and evidence will not be accepted. He said that the main challenge of the country is corruption, until the country is made free of corruption, the journey of prosperity cannot be decided.

He said, ‘UML will launch a nationwide campaign against corruption. In addition to making the people aware, we also raise our voices against corruption in this Parliament. He said that the responsibility of opening all corruption files has reached a point where it is impossible to escape.
