Kathmandu, July 20: Almost 100 kilograms of gold consficated from Tribhuvan International Airport have been kept in a vault. The gold seized on Wednesday was deposited in the vault of Taksar Division under the Print Management Department of Nepal Rastra Bank at Babarmahal on Thursday. After the team of the Revenue Investigation Department returned after handing over the gold, the Taxar Division kept it in a safe deposit box.
The gold brought from Hong Kong in the name of Ready Tradelink Budhanilkanth was confiscated by the team of the Revenue Investigation Department when it was about to be taken to a taxi after passing the customs check at the airport. 7 people have been arrested yet for their involvement in bringing illegal gold.
