House of Representatives : Top leaders of major political parties will address the first meeting

Top leaders of major political parties will address the first meeting of the House of Representatives. The all-party meeting organized by the senior member Pashupatishamsher Jabara at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar today, to reach agreement on the agenda of the first meeting, decided to hold the meeting according to the old rules until new regulations regarding the conduct of the House of Representatives are made.

In the first meeting, it has been agreed that the top leaders of the parties involved in the House of Representatives or MPs will address. The first meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled to be held on January 25 at 1 pm.

Similarly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has an agenda to take a vote of confidence on January 26. It has been agreed that the agenda will also be followed by the necessary process for the vote of confidence according to the old regulations.

Chief Whip of Nepali Congress, Ramesh Lekhtar informed that according to the rules, the Speaker or Deputy Speaker should be selected within 15 days of the first meeting of the House of Representatives. According to the proposal made in the meeting, the Speaker will be elected on January 7th and the Deputy Speaker will be elected on January 9th.
