kathmandu: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding its Parliamentary Party (PP) meeting this afternoon. Ramesh Lekhak, Chief Whip of the NC Parliamentary Party, stated that the meeting is scheduled for 1 pm at the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneswar.
The agenda of the meeting encompasses discussions on ensuring the seamless operation of the Parliament, advancing pending bills, and addressing various pertinent issues.Furthermore, the NC lawmakers will strategize on their forthcoming active engagement in parliamentary proceedings.
They will also deliberate on urging the government to take preventive measures against dengue, provide treatment for lumoy skin disease, manage cases of conjunctivitis, and address other related concerns, he said.Additionally, today’s meeting is expected to deliberate on the recent arrest of NC lawmaker Sunil Sharma, who was apprehended by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on Thursday.
