The first meeting of the House of Representatives after the November 4 election is being held on Monday (today).The letter received from the President’s Office regarding the summoning of the Parliament session will be read out at the meeting chaired by Pashupati Shamsher Rana, a senior member of the House of Representatives.
After that, there is a possible agenda to read out the letter that the President’s Office has informed the Parliament about the appointment of the Prime Minister and the formation of the Cabinet. Representatives of all parties will also address the meeting.

The members of the House of Representatives elected in the November 4 election took the oath of office and secrecy from senior member Rana on January 7. Until the speaker is elected, senior member Rana will conduct the meeting.Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will take the vote of confidence at the Parliament meeting on Tuesday (tomorrow).
