Three person have died in a scooter accident at Jamire Valadmichoke, Manahari rural municipality 9 of Makwanpur. Three people including the driver were killed when a vehicle hit a scooter numbered Na 39 P 1439 at Valadmichowk under East West Highway last night. All the deceased were riding on the same scooter.
In the accident, 32-year-old Dharmaraj Moktan, a resident of Manhari Rural Municipality-8 Simpani, 30-year-old Milan Moktan, a scooter driver, and 32-year-old Rupesh Tamang of Raksirang Rural Municipality-3 Lavati were killed, according to Makwanpur District Police Office.
It is said that the scooter was hit by another vehicle, but the identity of the vehicle that hit the scooter has not been revealed.
Due to the accident, the angry locals blocked the highway from 11 pm last night to 6 am this morning. The highway has been opened with an agreement to immediately locate the vehicle that hit.
