Saraswati Multiple Campus located at Lekhnath Marg (Thamel) in Kathmandu is one of the campuses where Free Student Union (FSU) elections will be held on this 5th of Chait. 6 thousand students are studying in this campus. As students did not take admission in time, so there are only 3,453 voters. Based on the number of students, 21 representatives are going to represent this campus directly and proportionally in FSU.
UML-aligned ANNFSU (Aneraswaviyu) has claimed that its victory in this campus is assured. Candidates from ANFSU have claimed that they will win the FSU election by surpassing the front of five student organizations.
While five student organizations are contesting elections in Saraswati campus by forming a front, ANFSU is in the election field with the determination to win alone. In this campus, Yuvraj Pangeni has nominated for the post of president on behalf of ANNFSU.
Pangeni is known as a articulate, witty, helpful and intelligent young man in the campus. Before the election, he has already decided the way to solve the problems seen in the campus if ANNFSU under his leadership wins. Now he is also the chairman of the ‘prarambhik committee ‘ of Saraswati Campus.

How is the election activity in Saraswati campus ?
– The election campaign is encouraging. The campus has become very busy these days. It has been found that the student friends are very eager to vote for all the office bearers and members including Yuvraj Pangeni, the candidate of the president from Aneraswaviyu.
How many of you are confident that all the candidates including you will win?
– All of us candidates are 100 percent sure. The candidates belonging to the panel, including the President’s candidate, are combative and studious. Likewise, we are a capable leader who can highlight the problems seen in this campus and solve them, so we are sure to win.
How do you introduce yourself to students?
– I have been studying in this campus since 2072 and have identified the problems of students. I have been trying to solve various problems. I have asked the campus administration for proper management of drinking water and toilets. I used to meet them directly to solve problems such as providing books in the library.
What are the main problems of this campus seen here?
– The major problems here are the lack of necessary physical infrastructure in the campus. There are few classrooms. As the classrooms are incomplete, they need to be painted. Similarly, there is a problem of hot water in winter months, dispensers are less.
The toilet is a little out of order. There are not enough books in the library, the computer labs have not been updated according to time. Similarly, lack of proper management of sanitation, not being able to engage students in sports, and not being able to adequately participate in extracurricular activities are also problems.
What are the grounds for the victory of ANERASWVIU in this campus ?
– The basis for us to win in this campus is that the leaders of organizations other than ANNFSU are on the front as a coalition. Being weak, they formed an alliance, that is the basis for the victory of ANNFSU.
Having five student alliances is their weakness and a positive message for ANERASWAVIU. We are always among the students to highlight the problems of the students. The number of voters who will make us victorious is large. Studying the good aspects of Aneraswaviyu, fellow students will give their valuable opinion.
What kind of new work do you plan to do after winning the election ?
– I have made it clear before. The campus will be better only after we solve the problems and challenges. Our goal is to make the Saraswati Multiple Campus excellent by solving all the problems like library, toilet, physical infrastructure problems, etc.
