Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 151.44, while the selling rate stands at NPR 152.04. Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is NPR 175.66 and the selling rate is NPR 176.36. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 201.60 and a selling rate of NPR 202.40. The Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 191.09 for buying and NPR 191.85 for selling.
The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 105.21 and a selling rate of NPR 105.61. The Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 108.98 (buying) and NPR 109.42 (selling), while the Singapore Dollar is NPR 118.08 for buying and NPR 118.55 for selling.
Japanese Yen (per 10 units) has a buying rate of NPR 9.55 and a selling rate of NPR 9.59. The Chinese Yuan is NPR 22.03 (buying) and NPR 22.12 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 40.35 (buying) and NPR 40.51 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 41.54 (buying) and NPR 41.70 (selling).
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is NPR 4.66 (buying) and NPR 4.67 (selling). The UAE Dirham is NPR 41.24 (buying) and NPR 41.40 (selling). The Malaysian Ringgit stands at NPR 37.61 (buying) and NPR 37.76 (selling). The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is NPR 10.06 (buying) and NPR 10.10 (selling). The Swedish Krona is NPR 16.13 (buying) and NPR 16.19 (selling), and the Danish Kroner is NPR 23.51 (buying) and NPR 23.60 (selling).
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 19.51 (buying) and NPR 19.40 (selling), the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 493.69 (buying) and NPR 495.65 (selling), the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 401.11 (buying) and NPR 402.70 (selling), and the Omani Riyal at NPR 393.40 (buying) and NPR 394.96 (selling).
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160, while the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
