Kathmandu: Chang Maoming, the Ambassador of China to Nepal, has emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral security cooperation between the two countries and expressed commitment to making every possible effort in this regard.
During an interaction with participants of the first batch of the Police Leadership and Staff Course (PLSC) at the National Police Training Academy in Maharajgunj, the Ambassador reaffirmed China’s willingness to enhance cooperation in the field of security. According to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, he engaged in discussions with future leaders of the Nepal Police on a range of contemporary issues.
The discussion also covered topics such as Nepal–China relations, the current global context, and regional security challenges. Participants shared their views on the present state of bilateral relations, mutual cooperation, and future prospects between the two nations.
Ambassador Chang noted that Nepal–China relations have been continuously strengthening and expressed confidence that cooperation in law enforcement and security will reach a higher level in the coming days. He further stated that such bilateral collaboration is expected to enhance mutual trust and contribute significantly to regional stability.
