Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs. 152.93 and the selling rate at Rs. 153.53.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro stands at Rs. 179.00 and the selling rate at Rs. 179.71. One UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of Rs. 206.60 and a selling rate of Rs. 207.41, while one Swiss Franc has a buying rate of Rs. 195.60 and a selling rate of Rs. 196.37.
The buying and selling rates for one Australian Dollar have been fixed at Rs. 110.73 and Rs. 111.16 respectively, while one Canadian Dollar is valued at Rs. 111.46 for buying and Rs. 111.90 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has been set at Rs. 120.10 for buying and Rs. 120.57 for selling.
Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.69 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.72. One Chinese Yuan has been fixed at Rs. 22.54 for buying and Rs. 22.63 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at Rs. 40.76 for buying and Rs. 40.92 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal has been set at Rs. 41.95 and Rs. 42.12 respectively.
According to the central bank, one Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs. 4.73 and a selling rate of Rs. 4.75. The UAE Dirham is valued at Rs. 41.64 for buying and Rs. 41.80 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit stands at Rs. 38.90 and Rs. 39.05 respectively.
Similarly, 100 South Korean Won has been fixed at Rs. 10.25 for buying and Rs. 10.29 for selling. The Swedish Krona has been set at Rs. 16.40 and Rs. 16.46 respectively, while the Danish Krone stands at Rs. 23.96 for buying and Rs. 24.05 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying and selling rates of the Hong Kong Dollar at Rs. 19.52 and Rs. 19.60 respectively. The Kuwaiti Dinar has been set at Rs. 499.20 for buying and Rs. 501.16 for selling, the Bahraini Dinar at Rs. 405.49 and Rs. 407.08, and the Omani Riyal at Rs. 397.22 and Rs. 398.77 respectively.
The exchange rate for Indian currency has been fixed at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling per INR 100. Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may offer different rates, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
