A fire broke out in Sindhuwa market of Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality of Nakuta yesterday evening.The fire that started from the house of Santosh Rai has completely damaged two houses in the market and partially damaged 6 houses. The fire broke out around 7 p.m.
Houses near Kauli Chowk of the market have been damaged by the fire. Sundarman Dangol has informed that the house of Santosh Rai and Jhamak Thapa was completely damaged and the houses of Dambar Bahadur Thapa, Arjun Ghimire, Lila Bahadur Thapa and Dig Bahadur Khadka were partially damaged in the fire.
The fire was extinguished last night with the help of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police and local residents and the fire brigade from Basantpur, Laliguras Municipality of neighboring Tehrathum. It is assumed that the fire may have been ignited by the coal that was lit to heat the fire.
