Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.13 and the selling rate at NPR 144.73.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 169.94 and the selling rate is NPR 170.65. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 196.85 and a selling rate of NPR 197.66. The Swiss Franc has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 185.25 and a selling rate of NPR 186.02.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 101.01 and the selling rate is NPR 101.43. One Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 105.38 and a selling rate of NPR 105.82. Likewise, the Singapore Dollar has been fixed at NPR 113.42 for buying and NPR 113.89 for selling.
For Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 units is NPR 9.24 and the selling rate is NPR 9.28. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 20.77 and a selling rate of NPR 20.86. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has been set at NPR 38.43 for buying and NPR 38.59 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 39.54 for buying and NPR 39.71 for selling.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.57 and the selling rate is NPR 4.59. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 39.24 and a selling rate of NPR 39.41. The Malaysian Ringgit is fixed at NPR 36.65 for buying and NPR 36.80 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.94 and the selling rate is NPR 9.98. Similarly, the Swedish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 16.10 and a selling rate of NPR 16.16, while the Danish Kroner has been set at NPR 22.75 for buying and NPR 22.85 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.45 and the selling rate at NPR 18.52. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 471.86 and a selling rate of NPR 473.83. The Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 382.31 for buying and NPR 383.90 for selling, while the Omani Riyal has been fixed at NPR 374.39 for buying and NPR 375.95 for selling.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also been noted that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
