Kathmandu: The Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 145.22 and the selling rate is NPR 145.82.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is NPR 170.95 and the selling rate is NPR 171.66. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 195.94 and a selling rate of NPR 196.75, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 187.22 and a selling rate of NPR 188.00.
The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 102.74 and a selling rate of NPR 103.16. The Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 105.96 for buying and NPR 106.40 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 114.67 and a selling rate of NPR 115.15.
For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen have a buying rate of NPR 9.26 and a selling rate of NPR 9.30. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.14 and a selling rate of NPR 21.23. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.71 and a selling rate of NPR 38.87, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 39.84 and a selling rate of NPR 40.01.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.67 and a selling rate of NPR 4.69. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 39.54 and a selling rate of NPR 39.70, and the Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.32 and a selling rate of NPR 37.48.
For other currencies, 100 South Korean Won have a buying rate of NPR 10.14 and a selling rate of NPR 10.18. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 16.00 and a selling rate of NPR 16.07, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 22.88 and a selling rate of NPR 23.02.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.57 and the selling rate at NPR 18.65. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 475.35 and a selling rate of NPR 477.32. The Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 385.15 for buying and NPR 386.74 for selling, while the Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 377.69 and a selling rate of NPR 379.25.
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160, and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
